Continuing Personal and Professional Development (CPPD)
As a therapist, you may be required to complete Continuing Personal and Professional Development points. At The Therapy Studio we offer a range of training workshops and qualifications to help you to gain points and further your career. Training is offered to small groups of at least two to a maximum of 4 students. Please get in touch for more details of the courses and workshops that we offer.

Ear Candling
A one-day course leading to a professional diploma. Learn how to perform a full ear candling treatment, covering contra-indications and holistic facial massage. CPD points: 9

Indian Head Massage
A one-day course leading to a professional diploma. Learn how to perform a full Indian Head Massage, covering contra-indications, and health and safety. CPD points: 10
Dates for 2008: 6th July, 7th September, 4th October, 1st November .
All courses are accredited by The Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists who offer membership and insurance. Insurance is also availbale from Professional Beauty Direct. For scheme of work and booking forms email your details to mail@thetherapystudio.co.uk.
Learn to Massage - 1 Day workshop for two people (

Learn everything you need to know to perform a basic massage routine on a friend or loved one. This is a wonderful gift idea for couples, friends or family. Run over 1 day, you will learn about contra-indications to massage and learn the basic massage techniques and how to perform them safely. You will also learn a massage routine, which you can use to perform a wonderfully relaxing massage for a loved one. Each student will take it in turn to give and receive a massage with one-to-one tuition. Please note, this is not a course for professionals wishing to learn massage for industry work.
Labour Massage workshop (65)
The birth partner of your choice is taught how to massage during labour to ease pain and relax the birthing mother. Includes a labour massage blend of your choice.
