We appreciate you taking the time to read our terms, conditions and policies.

1. A 24 hour cancellation policy is operated and the full charge of missed appointments will be added to your next appointment.

2. Changes to your appointment will only be honoured if sufficient notice is given. For example booking for more than one treatment/more than one area to wax and then changing your mind and only having one treatment. As we would have allocated time, we may have to charge you for the original time and treatments booked.

3. We take payment by cash, cheque, credit or debit card except AMEX. Payments under £10 will incur a 50p charge to cover the cost of the payment which is incurred to us.

4. Unfortunately due to health and safety requirements, children are not allowed in the treatment rooms unless receiving a treatment. Children aged 16 and under, receiving a treatment must be accompanied by a parent or guardian according to the Children Act 1989.

5. Loyalty cards will be changed as follows: From April 2010. Please ask for your loyalty card to be stamped after each visit. 5 stamps = 10% off your 6th visit. Stamps must be claimed at the time of the visit & will not under any circumstances be back dated/stamped. Loyalty cards are not in conjunction with any other offers, discounts OR gift vouchers. Loyalty cards are not transferable. Loyalty cards are at our discretion.

6. Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months, non-refundable, and will not be honoured if out of date. Vouchers must be presented as payment at the time of treatment.

7. Treatments lasting over 1 and a half hours or more will require a 25% non refundable booking fee at the time of booking. Treatments lasting 3 hours or more will require full payment at time of booking.

8. Please arrive in good time for your treatment. Late comers will receive their treatment minus the time they have missed at full charge.

9. Please come prepared for your treatment as necessary and as advised at the time of booking. This may include; removing make-up, wearing/bringing the right clothes and footwear, any skin preparation for waxing and spray tans. We cannot guarantee the result of a treatment where this is not followed.

10. Please ensure your belongings and jewellery are somewhere safe and secure, either at home or in your bag. We cannot take responsibility for your personal belongings.

11. Always ask for a car parking pass when you park at Basepoint, but bear in mind we cannot guarantee a space for you. Additional parking is on Andersons Road, Royal Crescent Road (parking meters) or in our overflow car park.

12. We would ask you to always respect any client who may be receiving a treatment in the next room. A quiet, relaxing, calming atmosphere is our aim at all times.

13. As we don't have a receptionist, if we are with clients we ALWAYS place a sign on the front door advising this. WE WILL NOT interrupt a client's treatment to answer the door. If we are running a few minutes late and the front door is locked, we apologise in advance. We will come to your assistance ASAP and ask you to wait patiently for us.

14. A full consultation and personal details will always be requested on your first visit. This is a requirement of our insurance and ensures we can treat you safely.

15. Patch tests are required at least 24 hours prior to the following treatments: eyelash perm & tint: eyebrow tint.
