Our Philosophy

We believe that complementary therapies and beauty should be available to all, and should not cost the earth. We also make every effort to use natural products in our treatments. Our bodies are temples, and we should respect how delicate they are, instead of using harsh chemicals and products on our skin and hair. We are fully qualified, experienced and insured and very knowledgable in our areas of specialisation.

Who will you find at The Therapy Studio?

Pamela Trodd I retrained in complementary therapy in 1996 after a job as a motor claims negotiator. Over the years I have trained in various areas of complementary therapies and beauty, and after being approached to teach at an established private centre I gained my certificate of education from Southampton University. I have since worked in colleges, teaching and coordinating beauty and complementary courses. I have gained a lot of experience as a self-employed therapist. I have worked as a reflexologist in a doctors surgery, treated physically and mentally impaired adults and their carers and worked as a therapist to a local Southern League Cricket Team. I feel it is very important that we all look after ourselves holistically and take responsibility for our own health and that is why I trained to be a foot health practitioner, as I feel it is vital we all look after our feet as we punish them everyday. Remember everybodies feet tell a story! I am very proud to be able to work as a complementary therapist and am honoured to have met so many interesting people along the way. I am also very flattered to have been blessed with such loyal clients and my continued thanks goes to them.

Laura Foulds I also retrained after gaining a degree in journalism. I was always interested in beauty and complementary therapy and decided that I wanted a to make a difference to peoples lives, and since going back to college to gain my complementary and beauty therapy qualifications, I have not looked back. I really enjoy meeting people and seeing the change in people from when they first walked through the door to when they float out after a treatment! I believe that we should spoil ourselves a little more, and worry a little less. I believe that the treatments we offer can enhance our lives in so many ways. I like to believe that my clients over the last few years have seen me as a therapist and a friend, and I believe that it is that trust that makes a treatment more special.
